Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

P, who suffers from a physical disability which leaves her housebound, currently sleeps on her sofa as she doesn't have a bed. This is extremely uncomfortable for the client, as she already suffers with chronic pain and spinal issues, but she has no other choice. P's mental health has declined as she is not able to relax and have a comfortable night’s sleep. She is waiting for her Personal Independence Payment claim to be reviewed. Once P's bills are paid, she has very little income and no family to help. Please can you help her to replace her bed and mattress?
Still £175 left to donate
Total needed £200Our client, a single mother of three, is struggling to afford beds for her children while living on Universal Credit. Without proper beds, her children’s sleep and focus in school are being affected. This amount would provide two second-hand beds and mattresses, giving her family the comfort and stability they desperately need. Any contribution, big or small, would make a meaningful difference. Thank you for your support!
Still £170 left to donate
Total needed £200M, a Ukrainian refugee and single mum, was recently moved by the council to a different area after becoming a victim of a hate crime. Her new home is unfurnished, and she is unable to afford a fridge freezer due to being on benefits. A fridge freezer would help M to store food safely, reduce food waste, and ensure she can provide nutritious meals for her child. Your support will make a huge difference, offering her family comfort and stability in their new home.
