C, an older gentleman, is struggling financially as he is on benefits which barely cover his weekly living expenses. His washing machine broke a couple of months ago and he cannot afford to replace it. He has been finding it really difficult without a washing machine, and a replacement would help him to look after himself and keep his clothes and bedding clean.
