L is a single man who has been out of work for the last ten years. He receives benefits, but the amount he gets does not leave him with enough money to replace his microwave which has broken. This is his main source of cooking and he really needs to replace it as soon as possible. L is currently undergoing a training course in handling a fork lift which will lead to a full time job.
