Tracy has been rehoused to new accommodation due to the condition of the last property and it's damp issues. unfortunately because of this her bed has become un usable so is in need of a new bed. All her other furniture was damaged as well. Her priority though is a bed so that she is able to sleep at night.
Anne lives alone in rented accommodation with no cooker and no finances to buy one; she is receiving help from the Citizens Advice Bureau with her finances. Anne suffers with depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder. She is a lovely lady who has a heart for others- she works part time with disabled children, and she did the 'Brave to Shave' in September to raise funds for MacMillan. She is in need of a helping hand to purchase a second hand cooker to help her eat more healthily.
S is working with Christians Against Poverty to sort some big debts, and they have recommended bankruptcy to write off her debts. She is living on a tight budget so there is not much spare for when things go wrong. Her fridge freezer is not working properly and we've found a second hand one to replace it, and are looking at funding to include the man and van to deliver. Also, some help with bus fares for coming into appointments in Exeter. Any help would be much appreciated.
In August last year L moved from a homeless shelter into her own place with her 2 year old child. She does have a washing machine, but is struggling to dry their clothes in the current conditions. She is currently drying in her own place, which is taking a couple of days, and over the last few months she has seen an increase in damp and mould. She is looking for £120 to buy a condenser drier, which has been sourced from a reputable, local CIC, who sell refurbished and tested white goods.
