J is currently living with his pregnant partner and their young child, he also has a daughter who is currently under special guardianship with his mum. They live in one room in a B&B with a shared kitchen. J has asked if there is any way we could get them a freezer as they are currently unable to keep food and they are shopping every day for fresh food which is obviously taking up a lot of their money.
Unfortunately this single parent family's washing machine broke over Christmas. They have three children aged one, five and eight years old. They moved last year into a house that had bed bugs and it is so important to wash everything regularly and they have no finances spare to pay for a washing machine as they are on benefits. Please help with this request.
S is a 52 year old lady who is moving out of a women's refuge and into a completely empty flat to start her life over. She will be getting Universal Credit but the rent will take half of this every month. She really needs help so that she can begin with the basic necessities. She will get advice as to how to organise her finances etc. but a contribution towards setting up her new life would be very welcome.
This chap has been living at home with his mum and has a carer for a few hours a week due to his additional needs. He is now moving into his new home on his own. The council has provided a bed, cooker, fridge/freezer etc but he has no money for plates, pans, bedding, or a hoover. Your help will really make a big difference to him settling into his first independent home.
