J and her children were living in temporary accommodation and have now been moved into an unfurnished council property. She had to leave her job due to the move, this loss of income combined with having to buy beds and other furniture for the house means she's unable to afford a cooker so is struggling to cook for her family only using a microwave and hot plate.
This family (husband, wife, son, daughter and wife's brother) are here as asylum seekers, having fled drug dealers in their native country Mauritius and arrived in the UK with nothing. They are now in Hastings following short term accommodation in Epping Forest. They have been helped with clothing, footwear and baby equipment by our local Salvation Army but desperately need to acquire a washing machine/dryer.
Mrs S is a carer for her severely disabled husband; she has one child still living at home, and looks after a grandchild a great deal of time. Her cooker, which is in daily use, stopped working some time ago making it very difficult to prepare meals for the family. Mrs S would be extremely grateful for any support that could be offered to make their lives easier.

Mr M has moved from temporary accommodation with no items. He has managed to source many essentials himself for free/has borrowed money to do so. He is without a cooker. His medical conditions include bipolar disorder, complex PTSD and OCD. He is finding his inability to prepare food for himself a real issue in terms of being able to settle with his mental health. He is on Universal Credit, and we are worried that he will use high interest loans for a cooker as he is already in high levels of debt. Any help to provide him with a cooker so that he could avoid going further into debt would be really appreciated.

They currently do not have a working hob, so are struggling to provide a hot meal for themselves. They have been able to save £60 towards the total cost of the hob of £199. This includes installation and disposal of the old hob. Any help is greatly appreciated.
