This 40 year old man has severe mental health problems, including depression and mood swings. He has not worked for 17 years and is on a disability benefit. He lives alone in a Housing Association property. He struggles to manage on a low income and his cooker only has one hob working. A local charity has agreed to provide a new cooker, but his bed is broken and he needs a replacement. £120 to buy one from a local supplier would be of enormous help to him.
This young man has been homeless for many months but has just secured an unfurnished council tenancy. He is in receipt of Universal Credit but this barely covers his essential outgoings so he is struggling to purchase the essential items that he needs for his new home. I would be grateful if you could, therefore, consider providing him with a donation for a bed. Many thanks.
This 40 year old married woman of three is experiencing horrendous circumstances at the moment. Her husband was working but had a heart attack and all their benefits have stopped apart from child benefit. She is now having to look after her disabled husband and her children. At the moment she and one of her children are sleeping on the floor and her husband is in a broken double bed. A local charity has awarded a double bed and help with food but the child is in need of a single bed.
