£100 needed for a bed

This 38 year old woman and her three children have been in emergency accommodation for over a year. They were evicted from their previous property and became homeless. The mother has now been offered a council tenancy but the family have to vacate their present tenancy immediately. They have nothing to furnish it with, but a local charity has agreed to supply beds to the children. One more bed for the mother is needed and any help would be of enormous benefit.

£120 needed for a gas cooker

S came to our foodbank this week, she explained she has a gas cooker which is slowly running out of rings. It just has one working ring and the gas oven is just about working. She was donated the cooker many years ago by family and it is now on its last legs, it is unlikely it will still be working at Christmas. She isn’t looking forward to Christmas this year as is it will be the first Christmas since a family member's death on 28th December last year. Your kind generosity to provide a new gas cooker for her would make a huge difference.

£100 needed for a cooker

Miss L was previously in a private rented property which was damp and inhabitable. She has just recently had a baby that was born in August. Please can we help her set up her new home? She has struggled to pay for everything for her new home and is still without a cooker. It would help her so much to be able to cook healthier meals for herself, and even more so as the baby gets older.

B is on Employment Seeker's Allowance and Personal Independence Payment benefits. She is 60 years of age and has had to move from her 3 bedroom house to older person's sheltered housing. B was not able to take her cooker as it was built-in, which means that she has no means of cooking for herself and her 8 grandchildren who regularly visit. She would really appreciate any help that can be given to her.
