This client suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and has left-sided weakness following a past stroke. She moved into residential care due to safeguarding issues when groups of men were visiting her home and there were reports of sexual exploitation. Whilst in care she engaged with support workers and is now regularly seen by a Community Psychiatric Nurse. She has now been rehoused to an adapted bungalow and is unable to purchase essential items due to being in receipt of disability benefits.
This client was abused by his ex-partner. They split up and he was awarded full custody of their son. Their previous living conditions were very turbulent and Dad is keen to bring up his son in a stable home. He has been awarded a flat and he has worked hard to make the place habitable. He is in receipt of Universal Credit and does not have any savings. He would be so grateful for help buying a washing machine.
D is an elderly lady with learning difficulties. She is in debt and has taken out a number of loans in the past to purchase items and has struggled paying these off, which has left her in financial difficulty. She lives alone and does not have any means to prepare hot food for herself. She would really appreciate your donations that would enable her to buy a cooker. Thank you.
N has been homeless for a few years and has recently secured a tenancy at a retirement lodge. N had a traumatic childhood, resulting in PTSD, which has affected him in his ability to navigate society. Unsuitable sleeping arrangements whilst homeless have resulted in serious back problems and N would benefit from an orthopaedic mattress, allowing him to finally have a good night's rest. Please help if you are able.
