J has had a difficult life and experienced so much loss. She has very little in terms of possessions apart from her car, which she has used periodically to live in. The car tax is now due but she currently has no income, nor the mental capacity to progress or manage a claim for benefits. The car gives her some sense of security as something she has managed to keep hold of and that she knows she can sleep there if she loses her accommodation (which has happened a number of times).
This young man is appealing his refused asylum claim and has to pay £120 to the tribunal service for his appeal to proceed. I have been supporting this young man for 3 years and know he has no recourse to benefits and neither is he allowed to work. He would really appreciate your help to pay this fee.
