S came to see me in floods of tears after receiving notification of a hospital appointment for her three year old daughter to be treated at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Hospital in Newcastle. She is on benefit and is unable to afford the train fare and overnight stay, as the appointment is early in the morning and the train would not arrive on time. S is a regular customer in our Community Shop and really does the best she can with her disabled daughter. Your help and support would be very much appreciated.
