£100 needed for a smart phone
From London - 25 years old.
M has had a difficult past; he was a victim of torture. He was referred to us with financial difficulty. He works on a zero-hour contract and relies on Universal Credit to top up his income. His mobile phone has broken and he can not afford to buy a new one. £100 towards a new phone would mean that M can contact his family and friends. He would also be able to easily access his Universal Credit online. A donation to help would take a lot of worries away from M's already difficult situation.
