H lives on her own and suffers from severe mental health problems. As a result, H has found paying her bills confusing and difficult. She has been working on her budget for the last few months and made some big lasting changes to her circumstances, so her finances are finally stable. The only debt outstanding is the electricity arrears. £150 towards this debt would help to give H the fresh start that she has been hoping for. Thank you for your kind donations.
Through the Lewisham Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre, we have been supporting a single Mum, L, with her finances. L has a young child and is struggling on very low income, with no financial support from her ex partner. We have helped L get some food and clothes and also supporting her with her finances. As part of her debt plan, L would really appreciate some help from you towards the cost of the Debt Relief Order application. Thank you.
F has come to the UK from West Africa and has recently been given her right to remain. She is a single parent with children aged 8 and 9, and has suffered domestic violence. She is waiting for her Universal Credit claim to be assessed but meanwhile needs to pay some pressing bills for childcare, food and utilities. The children need to replace their clothes for when they return to school as they have outgrown their current ones. Any help towards F's current needs would be deeply appreciated.
