A is a single parent of four children, three of whom live with her in a two bedroom Council flat with no lift. Her two youngest boys have Diabetes and; therefore, complex medical needs. Her cooker and washing machine urgently need replacing, mum gets no support from their father and all of her children get free school meals. A donation towards a cooker would transform the family's life and would enable them to cook healthy meals and nourish their bodies.
P has been taking care of her brother as well as having her own long term health issues to manage. She has been relying on Universal Credit, but recently a mistake was made with her calculation. She is entitled to the benefit, but needs to wait for the calculation to be amended. P has been told that she will have to go to the Foodbank for help, but there is no current help for utilities. P has prepayment meters and £150 towards a voucher for help towards utilities would help enormously. Thank you!
T has four children, two older and two younger, and is need of a washing machine. Her current machine is not working and, with a busy household, this is very much a necessity, especially with young children. With the increased living costs, this has had a big impact on her finances.
This lovely young lady, with a three year old son, is currently working with Christians Against Poverty and has debts that she is unable to repay because of a previous difficult relationship, which has now ended. She needs to go through a Debt Relief Order to clear these debts, which costs £90.00, but is unable to save for this, due to having a very tight budget. She would really appreciate your help. Thank you so much.
S is married to a disabled man who is much older than herself and they have two children. They live on his Personal Independence Payment benefit and S visits our weekly Foodbank. She is in need of a contribution towards the payment of electricity and gas bills which are in arrears. Please can you help?
