P is a working man but has a zero hours contract, and as parts of his factory have had to intermittently close due to Covid-19 and isolation requirements, many weeks he has ended up with no work - whereas sometimes he can get 10 hours a day. The lack of consistency is very hard and he is embarrassed to keep accepting help from family, but if he is to continue to be able to have his 7 year old daughter at weekends, he has no choice. Currently his council tax is in arrears, which is an additional stress.
