Mum is attending trauma recovery workshops at our Centre. Her old Land rover needs too much work to pass the MOT due this month. We have already sourced £200 for her. A car is available locally with a long MOT for £400. With her own contribution, another £100 would pay for an available car for school runs and essential appointments. Her partner is to return to the family home soon after suffering poor mental ill-health last year. The family live in a rural area with no public transport.
P can become debt free through a Debt Relief Order that will cost just £90! Christians Against Poverty are working with him to sort the mounting debt he has accumulated, since he lost his well paid full time job in retail because of ill health. P has been quite desperate about his financial situation but now sees there is hope of a way forward, but he needs your help. Thanks so much.
M has had to give up work while he waits for an operation. He and his wife have a large family and they are struggling on ESA (Employment and Support Allowance). One of his children is also in hospital having surgery and they are having to pay transport costs on top of everything else. He is hoping to get some clothes and shoes from a charity for the children but would really appreciate some help in paying his fuel bills.
