S is working with us at Christians Against Poverty and the advice we have given is that her best course to become debt free is through a Debt Relief Order. She is unable to work having had a major operation on her knee and is likely to be off work for several months. In addition she suffers from depression and is on medication. She is claiming Universal Credit. Going through a Debt Relief Order will take a great weight off her and enable her to have a fresh start.
