C has been a victim of domestic violence from her ex-partner. As he knew her address she was given an emergency transfer to another property. However the flooring is in a very bad way with missing and cracked floorboards and C’s housing association are not willing to contribute to the costs. C is unable to work due to mental health conditions and relies on Employment Support Allowance and child benefit so cannot afford the cost of new flooring. She would really appreciate some help towards the cost of new flooring.
C has been rehoused by the local council after 9 months homelessness. He left home in fear after physical violence from a local stranger which led to depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms. Previously self-employed, he is no longer working. The local Besom helped him with furniture and white goods and a carpet would complete the picture, making his flat more a home and enabling him to live with more peace and quiet. Thank you.
