S is at college and also working part time to support the family. She lives with her mum, who she looks after and who has just had a hip operation. They are struggling to make ends meet and need some help to top up their gas and electric meter. Her mum struggles with the cold and S is worried about not being able to top up the meter.
M has huge mental health issues and we have recently helped her with a Debt Relief Order to enable her to clear all her debts. As she is now going forward with budgeting, she needs some new curtains so we are asking for help with £60 towards these for her flat. We feel this would really help improve her mental health as other carers support her moving forward with her life.
C has had a very difficult time over the last year, with admissions to hospital for both physical and mental health issues. He spent the whole Christmas period in hospital. His mental health team have advised him to take up a hobby to get him out of the house more and relax. He would like to go fishing, which he used to enjoy. As C is unable to work due to his health difficulties and his wife is disabled, money is very tight. Can you help him to do something positive this January?
Our client has recently had a heart attack and is recovering at home. He is awaiting knee replacement surgery and is finding getting around really hard to do. He has been surviving on beans on toast as he hasn't been able to get out. We would like to bless him with a chest freezer so he can stock up on meals for when he isn't well enough to go out. He is on benefits and lives very frugally. He's a lovely chap and we would love to bless him with this. It would help him so much. Thank you.
