D is working with Christians Against Poverty after he found himself in debt following a bad back injury that prevented him from working. He is currently sleeping in a van with no disposable income and debts preventing him from making any progress in finding a new place to live. A Debt Relief Order would be a lifeline for him and help begin the process of making a fresh start. Many thanks in anticipation.
Following a car crash the applicant has significant mobility issues. He also has a bad wound on his back that causes much pain. A move from a first floor flat to the ground floor has been secured but there is limited furniture and his fridge freezer is broken. Living on Universal Credit he can only just cover his living costs. A new fridge freezer will allow him to store fresh food and not have to shop every day. This would make a huge difference to his quality of life.
