The applicant was working until a number of serious health and anxiety issues arose. He spent a lot of time helping others, and unfortunately is in debt due to lending to friends, who ran up a large bill on his credit card. Christians Against Poverty (CAP) are working to clear his debt via bankruptcy, and he is also working with his local CAP job club trying to return to work. The bankruptcy would lift a huge weight and help him focus on rebuilding his life.

This 56 year old woman with two adult children was living in accommodation that was damp and due to be demolished so she had to move tenancy. She has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, vasculitis and Reynaud's disease. She had little choice in where she moved and the property needs decorating throughout. A local charity will provide her with a fridge/freezer as hers is not working, but she would be really grateful for any help towards decorating materials.
