M is a single Christian lady. She attends church & sought help from Christians Against Poverty (CAP) for debt. CAP recommended a Debt Relief Order (DRO), but she doesn't have enough for the fee. She doesn't have family. Her landlord issued an eviction notice. This request is to find the DRO fee & some money to give the landlord towards the arrears as goodwill. M got into trouble after lending money she couldn't afford to friends who didn't repay. CAP helping with budgeting, prayer & support.
This young pregnant mum is on Universal Credit and is currently living in a b&b. She has now been offered council accommodation but £120 of arrears from her time in the b&b will prevent her from being able to sign the tenancy. Her baby is due soon and we want to see her settled in her new accommodation. Please consider this helping to pay these arrears so she can move on and get settled before the little one arrives.
L is a Christians Against Poverty client and has outstanding debts. L is currently facing eviction and this money would enable them to pay off these debts and to stay in their current accommodation. This request is urgent, to stop L from being evicted.
