Referred by Victim Support Officer, this single mum of two children has recently had her house broken into and furniture damaged. They need to replace some belongings and are struggling financially to do so as although mum works, she does so on a part time basis.
J is a young, very vulnerable lady who suffers with mental health issues that have dramatically intensified since losing her daughter. She is currently in a relationship and stays in her boyfriend's house because she can't get her own place due to rent arrears in the property she lived in previously with her daughter. This lady needs her own independence and security and once her rent arrears are paid she can apply for social housing. Having her own place will significantly help her getting better.
Our client is working with Christians against Poverty to tackle his debt. He has lost his job and needs to leave his flat due to ongoing rent arrears. He is going to stay with his mum until he starts a new job and has a plan in place to manage debt, but he has belongings he needs to move to him mums and no means of transport. He would be grateful for your help to pay for this.
K's five year old child has experienced trauma in his life and this has caused him to wet the bed regularly at night. The child is now getting support and he is no longer wetting the bed but his mattress is in a bad condition and needs to be replaced. The family are on income support and have four other children, they do not have the finances to get a new one. The family would be very grateful for any help.
