This young person came to us following an abusive relationship on a homeless referral. With very little support around her from family and being quite withdrawn, she is engaging really well and starting to open up. Her confidence is growing and she is thinking about courses and volunteering in the local community. Her property is very basic and although she has her basic items she would benefit from some furnishings, curtain poles and crockery to make the home more suitable.
We have a tenant who has been looking for accommodation for over a year and has finally managed to secure his own flat. He has priced up a removal van for £30 to move all of his belongings. Could you help him to pay for this? He is struggling to source the money himself.
My client is currently receiving no Universal Credit through no fault of his own, we have welfare rights working on his behalf to correct this however in the mean time he has moved into supported housing and has no food or basic household items to live independently. Could you donate to help him get some food and household goods until we can sort this out?
My client had previously had her own tenancy before moving into supported housing due to becoming crippled in debt. She was made redundant from work leaving her with no money and due to her mental health could not cope with this. She has some old debt she would like help paying off, this would really help her to make a fresh start. Thank you.
This 39 year old lady is a mother of two. Her home has recently had a pest infestation. She really needs some new wardrobes so that she can protect her clothing from the pests, but she is unable to afford this herself. She would be so grateful for any help you can give her.
