K and her family have had to move out of their property due to a flood upstairs which caused the cooker to catch fire and lots of damage to the house. She is a single mum on benefits so her income is low and she is trying to manage the expense of sorting the house with continuing to put food on the table. She is hoping to move back in shortly but could do with some support to buy paint and an internal door for her teenage son's bedroom.
This 49 year old single mum is unable to work as she has significant health problems, is waiting for a heart bypass, and has been diagnosed with depression. She is currently living with her son in quite an isolated area, but through her support worker has been offered more suitable accommodation near to the rest of her family and her son's school. On her very basic benefits she really cannot afford to pay for the removal but is desperate not to lose this house. She would be so grateful for your help.
My client is coming from Christians Against Poverty (CAP) as a new client. He needs to move house due to his ill health but the council won't move him until he has paid his arrears. He actually owes £300 and has been working with CAP to budget better and find ways to make up the remaining cost. To help him save money, the foodbank have agreed to supply food for as long as it takes to pay back the money. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
This young man is suffering considerably with his mental health to the extent that he has tried to commit suicide. He has many debts and is struggling to live in his flat because it needs repairs - he has no flooring and the doors need to be replaced. He is receiving some support from professionals but would really appreciate help from Acts 435 donors. It would let him know that someone cares about him. Thank you.
