S is a 27 year old woman who has fallen into debt. Her working situation is unstable as she is an agency worker on a zero hours contract. This has caused her to fall into debt. She is seeking help with the £90 Debt Relief Order fee to give her a fresh start to get on top of her finances. Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.
J was referred for help with his debts after seeking support from a local suicide prevention charity. He is a 34 year old man who has suffered significant mental health issues, particularly since the breakdown of his marriage in 2017. He has two children from the relationship, who he sees regularly. His mental health issues are not helped by his financial situation. If you can spare any money to help with J's Debt Relief Order fee, it would make a massive difference. Thank you.
C is a debt free client of Christians Against Poverty, and living on a pension and tight budget. She's an NHS patient but has to pay towards the dental treatment required to replace her front tooth. She has savings to put towards this, but it will take a while for them to afford the full amount. Without it she has lost a lot of confidence so we'd love to be able to help her.
S is a 52 year old lady who is moving out of a women's refuge and into a completely empty flat to start her life over. She will be getting Universal Credit but the rent will take half of this every month. She really needs help so that she can begin with the basic necessities. She will get advice as to how to organise her finances etc. but a contribution towards setting up her new life would be very welcome.
This chap has been living at home with his mum and has a carer for a few hours a week due to his additional needs. He is now moving into his new home on his own. The council has provided a bed, cooker, fridge/freezer etc but he has no money for plates, pans, bedding, or a hoover. Your help will really make a big difference to him settling into his first independent home.
