J is a man in his 50's who suffers with severe rheumatoid arthritis. As a result, he struggles to get around and is unable to work. Unfortunately, he fell into debt due to his limited income. In seeking advice to address his debts, he is looking to process a Debt Relief Order, which costs £90. If someone could please help him with this fee, it would allow him a clean slate to move on with his life free of debts.
This gentleman was formerly homeless but now wants to get a Debt Relief Order for a fresh start. He is working with his local Citizens Advice Bureau to have a fresh start. He is struggling on Universal Credit and cares for his sister who has poor mental health. Please could you support him for this fresh start.
E is a 25 year old young father who lives isolated in North Cornwall. He suffers from poor mental health and lives on a low income. He has been given the opportunity to work but transport is a massive barrier. If he could get his CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) motorbike license he would be able to work and therefore become less isolated. This would improve his mental health and be able to develop a positive social network to continue improving his mental health. £120 would cover the cost of the test and license fees.
S is a single mum of 5 very small children, her circumstances have changed dramatically and though we have managed to sort many household items a new cot, mattress and highchair are needed. Mum is engaging with lots of local organisations to get the help she needs. What a difference this will make to them all getting a good sleep and having good meal times.
H is a young man who suffers with severe anxiety and has found himself with mounting debt. Following a period of rough sleeping he is now living in supported housing and came to our Community Money Advice (CMA) centre to address his situation. Due to being on benefits he is unable to repay these debts and is in need of a fresh start so he can begin to move forward. Being debt free would lift such a huge burden from his shoulders, reducing his anxiety and giving him hope for the future.
A is the carer for her husband who lives with extreme anxiety. They have 2 daughters, and A is the only member of the family without a bike. We'd love to help her get one so that the family can enjoy trips out together, and have found a second-hand one in good condition. They are living on benefits and although they are very good with their budgeting there is simply not enough spare cash for extras.
