£120 needed for Nursing Council registration fees
From NW London - 50 years old.
D lives with her teenage son. She had worked as a nurse for many years until she developed an eye problem and had to stop working completely. She and her son have been living on a very low income and have not been able to save any money for quite some time. She has now recovered her health and is trying to get back to work. To be able to work as a nurse again she needs to re-register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the fee costs £120 and she doesn’t have any money.
