S is a carer for her autistic son. She herself is suffering from some mental health issues that she is getting therapy for. She is currently on a very low income and unable to pay her debts. In order to be able to focus on her health issues S would like to apply for a Debt Relief Order to get the debt written off. A donation of £90 for the fee would allow her to apply and have a fresh start.
S has accrued debts because she wasn't earning enough and overstretched in taking loans to help her family, in particular her parents, who live in Latvia. Her father is very ill, and S has been buying medicines for him; she has also travels home regularly to give her mother respite from caring for him. S works very hard but still doesn't earn enough to pay her debts. A Debt Relief Order would give her a fresh start, and allow her to continue to provide her family with the support they need.
