B is a young mother whose daughter is almost one year old. She is on Universal Credit which means that her income is very low. B is moving into a council flat with her daughter where there is only a fridge/freezer and a sofa. She has very little in the way of appliances. Buying meals from take away shops is very expensive and not at all as nutritious as home made food. It is really important that B obtains a cooker as soon as possible and any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
This client recently moved into an unfurnished property after fleeing a domestic abuse relationship along with her 17 year old. She has anxiety and depression as well as sciatica in her back, all of which are linked to the trauma of severe domestic abuse. The client is on a low income, in receipt of Universal Credit and child benefit and has very little income spare after essential costs. The client cared for her mother for 15 years until her death recently, this has caused her to have a breakdown. Can you help her to get a fridge freezer?
We are supporting a Mum in Derby with many health concerns. This is due to her having problems with maintaining her flat, which has eventually got on top of her. Now her boy is not allowed to live in their home. We would like £120 for a skip so that she can have a big clear out of her clutter and begin to get her home in a condition so that her boy can move back in again.

This young woman has recently given birth to her first child. Prior to the birth she fled an abusive relationship and since then she has been living in a mother and baby unit. A parenting assessment has just been carried out so she has now moved into an unfurnished council property. She is in need of a washing machine so she can keep on top of her laundry as she cannot access a laundrette and cannot afford to purchase a washing machine from her benefits. I hope you can consider helping. Many thanks.
Mum and 2 daughters. Mum grew up in care and is trying to set up a new home for themselves. The money is towards a vacuum and other household essentials.
