P is currently street homeless but has been recently been offered accommodation through his local council. He needs to wait for renovations to take place before he can move in. He is using this time to try and acquire the necessary items for his new home. Any help to buy a microwave, cutlery and cooking equipment would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.
The client has had to leave the family home with her 4 children due to domestic violence. She has had to leave most of her and the children's belongings and has managed to get a tenancy in an unfurnished house. None of her children have a bed to sleep on. She is on a low income, in receipt of Child Tax credit and Income Support, which gives her very little spare money after paying for essentials such as food to furnish their home. One child suffers from depression and another with ADHD.
This young woman has recently moved from supported accommodation into her own flat. Gaining a new found independence, she moved with not many items and would like to start afresh, with items to make her new place a home. She is currently in receipt of Universal credit and is looking into work and volunteering in new things and ventures. This would help feel a new start has begun for her in her new adventure.
Our client is a lone parent to 3 children, on a low income employed part time as a Care Assistant and also receives Child Benefit. Her income means she has very little spare each month. She has moved into an unfurnished flat after fleeing from a Domestic Abuse situation to protect herself and her children. They currently have no spare income to buy the children beds, they are all currently sleeping on quilts on the floor as they are not eligible for support from the local authority. .
Our client has recently moved into an unfurnished property after living in a hostel with 2 of her children. She is a lone parent and suffers from ADHD, and one of her children is Autistic. The family requires some sense of order at home to support their mental health. She is on a low income, in receipt of Child Tax credit and Carers Allowance, so she is struggling to furnish the home. She has been utilising local recycle schemes but has not been able to get a wardrobe.
Our client has a 15 month old baby, and this is her first independent home. She was previously living with her Mum, but her Mum's house was overcrowded and tensions were running high in the house as her Mum did not approve of the baby’s father. She has taken the property but has very little money left at the end of the week and needs help with flooring and decorating, as the baby is of an age where he is now crawling around.
