£120 needed for food and utilities
From NW London - 49 years old.
M was working for a cleaning business but lost her job when the pandemic hit. Though her flat is small, her rent is high which means that she hits the benefit cap - she has a high sum of money deducted for her Universal Credit payment every month. As a result she has been receiving no income whatsoever from Universal Credit since losing her job. She is surviving on food parcels from foodbanks, has no credit on her phone or Oyster to help look for work or get back and forth to the foodbank.
