B is a lone parent with 4 children. She is on Universal Credit and is a carer to her son who is currently on a reduced school time table. B has recently left a relationship where she suffered domestic violence, and is shortly moving into a council property. However, the council have stripped all the flooring in the whole house and B needs to recarpet every room to make it safe and warm for her family. We have already secured £400 from a different source to support this family with the flooring they need, so if you are able to help with this request then there will be enough for the family to get the most important parts of the house sorted out.
L is a young, single mum to two small children. She fled domestic abuse and left everything behind to get the children to safety. They have been given a home, but are having to start completely from scratch and survive off benefits. The most important item for them is to get a cooker so mum can cook hot food throughout the winter. Your support would make such a difference.
We are working with a lady who is in a dark place at the moment. Some of her relationships have recently broken down and her relationships with her parents has hit an all-time low. She is seeking professional help as she feels she may do something that might things even worse and her behaviour is self-destructive and counselling would make such a difference for this lady. Please can we help her?
This lady has gone through a difficult relationship with her husband and has since separated from him. Since the separation, she has endured severe panic attacks which have left her with no self-worth or self-esteem. As she work with her counsellor she is working on opening up more, but the sessions are so helpful. She would really appreciate your support to attend more sessions. Please can we continue to help her? Thank you.
