K is autistic, and her husband also has mental health problems. With 4 children they are struggling with their benefits and have now been told that they have been overpaid and will have their income reduced via clawback. This will make their current debt situation even worse. Citizens Advice are trying to find more support for them, but in the meantime a Debt Relief Order would bring much-needed respite from their money worries. K would really appreciate a kind donation for the fee.
Mrs K is in need of a cooker. She has experienced much hardship over the past year and has been living on benefits. She suffered a stroke a couple of months ago and is struggling to cope to make food and keep up with food shopping and managing her finances. She is on a large amount of medication much of which needs to be taken with food. Mrs K's husband is also seriously ill after suffering a heart attack, meningitis and an abscess on his brain.
W has 3 sons but is separated from their Mum. He's illiterate and unable to keep track of his finances, while trying to pay for the boys' upkeep. He is also disabled and can't work. He has accumulated debts and at last came to Citizens Advice for help. A support worker has been found to help him manage better in future, but a Debt Relief Order is the only way to clear his debts. W would be very grateful for help with the fee.
A lost his job after an accident and is now severely disabled. He walks with a stick and some days he can’t get out of bed. Whilst he was working he was managing his debts but now he can't and won’t be able to return to work. Getting a debt relief order would do just that, give this kind gentleman relief from debts and the opportunity to focus on his future. Thank you for any help offered.
D is the loveliest man who volunteers at our centre faithfully. He had a small phone debt a while back of £55 but can't afford to pay it off and is confused at the way it keeps bouncing to different companies. He self harms and every time a letter or call comes he panics so badly that he self harms dangerously. This is something so small and so resolvable. We love him and would love to just pay this off for him and so reduce his self harm and improve his mental health. Would you help?Thank you
