BH has been granted leave to remain and has moved into a flat. He was given a bed by a friend and he is very grateful but the bed base is broken and the mattress is old so it is actually causing him pain to sleep in this old bed, due to the severe arthritis he has in his back. He has applied for universal credit but it will be 5 weeks before his benefits are paid, your help will allow him to get a new single bed and mattress quickly, so that he can sleep comfortably - Thank you.
"Due to being disabled I am unable to get out of my home without assistance and struggle to pay bills and live on the money I get via benefits. My dryer has recently broken and cannot be repaired and I do not have any spare money to buy another one. As I cannot get outside to hang washing out I rely on a dryer for my clothes and worry how I will manage. If I can get some help to buy another dryer this will be a weight off my mind and enable me to dry my clothes and be less dependant on others."
Our client is currently receiving benefits and unable to work as she is caring for her disabled son and her husband who is in hospital for 6 months. She is struggling to afford the bus fare to see her husband. We would like to request £115 to pay for 2 months of bus tickets.
