Mr C recently had a house fire in the kitchen which destroyed a number of appliances, including the fridge. Although he lives on benefits, he has been able to replace most of the other damaged items, but has not been able to afford a new fridge. Mr C is wheelchair bound and an under-counter fridge would allow him to easily reach his food. Any support would be so appreciated.
Dad is a widower and has had his leg amputated in a life changing operation. He has a three year old and childcare would give him some time to rest as he recovers from this operation. He cannot afford the associated costs and would be so grateful for any donations that would allow him this respite as adjusts to this big change.
Recently, our client's wife passed away, and he has found life very hard to cope with. His children were taken into care and he lost his job, finding himself in absolute despair. With help of his support worker he is beginning to turn his life around. He has severe back problems and finds sleeping and mobility a problem, even though he is on strong pain relief. He has been advised to get an orthopaedic mattress to support his back and help him sleep better but he cannot afford it as he is waiting on benefits. Please could we help him ease some of the stresses of this difficult time?
