G has not left his flat in over 8 years. He was severely injured and is housebound and uses an electric bed to help give him more movement and to allow him to get in and out easily. The bed has become damaged and the cost to repair it is beyond what he can afford. This help would make the world of difference to him.
Mrs X has two young children and lives remotely. She is in need of some transport as she doesn't drive and would like to be able to take her children to school more safely than the hour long walk she currently does along a busy country road with no pavements. She has her own bicycle which she could use with the trailer. One of her children has special needs so this transport would be vital to keep them safe on the journey.
D has had a difficult life. He has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and is bipolar, in and out of prison. Now housed in an unfurnished 1st floor flat, he is trying to turn his life around and wishes to equip/brighten up his flat, so he can have access to his 3 year old son. He would like to put carpet in his bedroom, hallway and front room, buy paint for walls, erect curtain poles in bedroom, kitchen and living room and pay an electrician to correct junction box wiring for cooker.
