N is a vulnerable young man working with Christians Against Poverty. After leaving care he was put in supported housing and told all his bills were included, but when he left they then told him this was wrong and he had a lot of debt. He moved into a house share where one of the housemates didn't pay their way so his debt increased. He and his current housemate both have autism, dyslexia and mental health issues, and they support each other to manage. A debt relief order would help them both.
A got into debt after a shoulder injury that left her in huge pain and unable to move her arm. P moved in to care for her. The DWP wrongly stopped their benefits so they were unable to pay their rent and began receiving bailiff visits. A encountered Jesus and met a Christians Against Poverty debt coach at church, and they started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. She has had an operation and is no longer in pain.
