Both the parents of this young family were working, however one has just been laid off due to Covid-19. They are now struggling to cope, and after paying all their bills they just cannot afford a new washing machine. They cannot go to the laundry house as it’s closed. They have a 14 year old son who has a bladder problems, hence they have to wash every day, sometimes as many as three times a day. They have tried to sell a few items to help towards new bedding. Any help you could give them would make so much difference.

This young student is suffering with anxiety and depression and has had to move out of her housing in November as she started to go to university in September to study. She was made redundant from her part-time job in November, and she is now caught in a trap where she cannot access benefits because she is a student, and she cannot have accommodation of her own because she doesn't have a job, so she is staying with a friend temporarily. Please can we help contribute to her living costs with her friend? We are working on a solution to this.
Mr T moved into his property in February 2020 and was working full time. He moved in with his long term partner but when lockdown started he was made redundant. He had planned to decorate and buy flooring but since he lost his job he has been unable to do this. He had a relationship breakup in June and now cannot afford all the household bills and struggles to make ends meet. He would benefit from a rug for one room due to noise complaints below and heating issues with bare flooring.
This new client has come to our housing association through losing employment. The company he worked for folded due to Covid-19 and the lockdown. He owed rent arrears before he became homeless. We would like to see him free and be able to give him a fresh start.
