B and his wife both have mental health difficulties. They are really struggling to make ends meet and manage their four children and their mental health. They have tried applying to various charities for help with uniform but to no avail, and the children have had to go back to school without uniform. £115 would go such a long way to providing the essentials for them and would give the children some confidence in school and take some pressure off this couple trying to do their best. Thank you for helping!
M is a granny looking after her granddaughter, who has mental and physical disabilities and attends a special school. M receives welfare benefits herself but is struggling because she has not yet managed to claim Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for her granddaughter. The little girl needs extra clothes and changes of bedding because of her condition, and a kind donation for these would be a great relief for M while Citizens Advice help her to apply for DLA.
K is a single mum of 5 and lives on income support. After K has paid rent, bills etc she doesn't have any money left, and uses foodbanks. Two of her children are at school and she needs uniform for them. The school has helped with £40, but that only paid for 2 jumpers each. The children need jumpers, t-shirts, trousers, shoes and stationary for both children, which comes to well over £200. K would be very grateful for any help, thank you.
R has recently suffered a house fire and her family have to move out of the property for a minimum of 6 months. Although they had house insurance they still have to buy clothing and toys etc for their two young children so that they can try to keep things as normal as possible. £120 would be gratefully received towards the children's replacement dance costumes so they can continue their classes and competitions.
