My client fled Domestic Violence and is a high risk DV case. She is in receipt of Universal Credit and has two children, but has recently experienced financial abuse and is now experiencing affects from this. My client hopes you might be able to help with £150 to help pay towards service charge fees, travel costs to appointments/ to see family (they live far away) and clothing for the children.
Clothes are desperately needed for a 5 year old girl, a 6 year old girl and an 8 month old baby boy. The girls also need shoes as their current footwear has holes in or have worn down so badly they can’t walk properly. Mum has run away from an abusive relationship and has bravely started out on her own. The kids have no toys at all and the only clothes they possess are what we have given them. She will be grateful for any assistance. Her children are aged 8 months, 5 and 6 years old.
This gentleman, A, has survived being on the streets despite having no arms. He is now in temporary accommodation and is in desperate need of assistance. He needs a microwave and toaster so his carer can prepare simple meals for him (and feed him). He needs clothing too including shoes. Any assistance you can give will have a huge effect on him. Thank you.
D has moved into emergency accommodation. He has spent his money on essential items and cannot afford to put new trainers on his feet. His previous four pairs of trainers came from a charity shop and I’d like to try and get him a brand new pair. It will make a huge difference to his mental health and wellbeing. I’d be very grateful if you could assist. Thank you.
D has been clean for a year, but the fines still coming out of his benefits are making daily living costs very difficult, and the addiction medication he is on has caused him to gain a lot of weight. He is now ready to look for employment again but has no presentable clothes that fit, and his shoes have holes in. Please could you help provide him with some new shoes and items of clothing? Thank you.
