A double (tandem) buggy needed for a newborn and sibling of 19 months. We have tried to locate a buggy of this type through churches without success. The new baby arrived on the 27th August, and the situation has now become urgent. New buggies of this type are too expensive, and a second hand one may be more expensive than the £120 we are requesting, but as a church we will raise the additional funds required.
L has moved from her home town due to domestic violence, with her 3 children. They have been offered a house but the kids need uniform to start their new school. Uniform, without logos, can be purchased from the local superstore for all three for the amount requested, a local scheme is providing coats and shoes, hats and scarves. Any assistance would be gratefully received, helping their new start to go smoothly.
A has just moved into her new flat with her daughter aged 4.The previous tenant had cats, and despite scrubbing the carpet, using a cleaner and sprays, the smell from their urine was intolerable so the carpet has been removed and disposed of. She needs a carpet and a local carpet store quoted her for a basic living room carpet and underlay. She has £100 saved towards it, but if this request was met, she could get the carpet fitted by the end of this month. Thank you.
This Mum has recently been through a really difficult time. Mum has had her children removed from her care whilst she improves home conditions, but she does not work and benefits have been stopped due to not having the children. Mum would be most grateful for help in providing a carpet for her living room to help make steps towards being re-united with her children.
This Mum has recently been re-united with her one year old daughter after making such positive changes. However, due to this, mum is not yet in receipt of all her benefits. Mum would love a pushchair for her daughter, to get out and about. This would make a big difference to mum and help raise her spirits. Mum is new to the area and this would also help reduce her isolation as she would be able to get to groups and meet new people.
This single Mum of 5 children would really appreciate help to purchase new living room flooring. The one they have is very worn and unclean and is not pleasant for the younger children to play on. Mum has previously struggled with her home conditions due to the demands of her children who also have additional needs, but this is something she is working and making progress on.
