These parents have a school age son, and have recently moved into unfurnished accommodation. They have have started to furnish it with a donation from Acts 435 prior to their Universal Credit application being confirmed. It has now been confirmed and is capped so is much less than they had expected. They are now faced with having to buy new shoes and uniform for their son, who has grown considerably during lockdown and nearly all his uniform, PE kit etc need replacing.
