K is a single mum who has a five year old son with behavioural and learning difficulties. She has been housed in a privately rented flat but, unfortunately, the landlord(for the past two years) will not get the oven or cooker repaired. This limits how she feeds them both so a microwave with oven and grill options would help her to give them both a healthy balanced diet. K lives on her weekly Universal Credit payments and is trying to find work but, with her son's needs, it is not easy.
T is a migrant and a lone parent with five children. Her husband walked out on her for another woman when she was expecting her fifth child who is now three years old. She is in need of winter jackets for three children. This request is for two children aged seventeen and sixteen. In their home of poverty, food is a priority and not clothing. Please help reduce child poverty and put smiles on the children's faces.
