£100 needed for travel costs
From York - 56 years old.
K has a problem with Universal Credit. He freelances for an employer and has declared his payments, but this has led to over payment of benefits, which are now being clawed back. So K is left without money to pay for his travel to work- unless he goes without food instead. The distress is in danger of making K unfit for work anyway. Citizens Advice are trying to sort out the benefits problem, but in the meantime a £100 donation would cover K's travel costs for a month.
