£150 needed for food and utilities
From Newcastle upon Tyne - 56 years old.
R returned to the North East following time down in London to sort out a family problem. He returned to find his employer was no longer operating and registered for Universal Credit. His previous employer claimed he had received £500 in lieu of wages just two weeks previously. This was not true. An appeal is in progress, however it has come to light he has no food and hasn’t eaten properly since his return. The foodbank and the church are supporting him now, but he needs cupboard items so he can cook and gas and electric.
