This young family recently moved into a new home after living in supported housing. They have 3 children under the age of 4, and the middle child has just started toddling around. The floor is bare concrete; the cheapest flooring option is around £100 and they have no disposable income at present. One child has fallen on the concrete floor a couple times and parents are concerned he might really hurt himself, and also the other children are walking on the concrete which is hard to keep clean.
Having with diligently worked with Christians Against Poverty to become debt free, this lovely lady is working hard to keep on top of her finances and provide on her own for her two boys. Her younger son is about to move schools in order to access the level pastoral support that he needs, and unfortunately the cost of school uniform is prohibitively high for her. Any donations you could make towards this would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

This single mother is in debt as she is trying to live on very low benefits. She had to choose between heating and paying all the rent. She also had to rely on the Foodbank for food. She chose heating her home as the weather turned cold but then went into rent arrears. Her benefits are being reviewed but for now she needs to pay off her rent to stop her from being evicted.

A is getting help from Christians Against Poverty to sort out his debts. Whilst we are dealing with the main ones he has a small amount of debt on his prepaid gas meter which means whenever he puts some money on it is used up by the debt almost straight away. This has caused him to just stop putting money on his meter and therefore not heating his flat. We would like to raise enough to cover the debt which is £34 and then put some credit on his meter to get him ahead.

Her life would be made just that bit easier if she could cut down on some of the mundane household chores. We are therefore asking if you could contribute towards a dishwasher for her. Thank you.
