Ms M is 24, studying to be a social worker and trying to help and support her sister who has a child and struggles with an addiction. We are helping them both through the foodbank but are concerned that Ms M will be completely overwhelmed and put back or give up her degree in social work. Any help towards her rent would be greatly appreciated. After some support from Saint Vincent de Paul there will be just £150 remaining. Thank you.
Our client is a single mum awaiting surgery on hip for a long time due to previous complications in past. She has missed a number of appointments due to lack of money to pay for a taxi to take her to hospital, which is 50 miles from her home and costs £60 one way. We have connected her with a local community transport who charge a smaller fee for transport out of their own area. So we hope to get her 2 return journeys with your kind donations. Thank you.
This young girl has been homeless and working with Women's Aid after leaving an abusive situation. Despite ongoing mental and physical health issues she is determined to make a better and more positive life. She is currently studying Applied Science and is continually engaging with local services and professionals to improve her life. As a full time student she's excluded from other means of financial support and would so appreciate support in buying new carpets and blinds for her new home.
L is on a long term debt repayment plan with Christians Against Poverty. She has been determined to overcome these financial difficulties, even though she suffers from poor mental health. L's mattress has become very worn and uncomfortable as she spends a good deal of time in bed. This funding would enable a new soft mattress for her bedroom and make her rest more comfortable. Please could you help?
