York Press appeal
Posted on April 17th, 2014 at 9:17AM
The Archbishop of York’s charity Acts 435 has today teamed up with his local newspaper The Press to run a special Easter appeal.
Twenty of our requests for assistance have been published in the printed and online editions of the paper, and readers are being invited to contribute towards the requests.
The Press has been running a Stamp Out Poverty campaign since December 2012, aiming to help local anti-poverty charities, raise awareness of the extent and nature of poverty in our region and to tackle the stigma around poverty and hardship.
