Power of Partnership

Today the following story was posted on our website:
With the help of Acts 435 and CAP this family is working their way out of debt and is now able to feed their family. With the money from Acts 435 the family were able to purchase a carpet and a freezer which had helped them to manage their food better and freeze leftovers. Both people in this couple are now working opposite shifts to pay off their debts and will be debt free within the next 2 years.
What a great way to start the week by reading this - not just a family helped, but the way charities can work together to provide it. Acts 435 seeks to be part of a coordinated response to poverty. As such our advocates are encouraged to acquaint themselves with other relevant organisations in their local area so that appropriate help can be offered to each applicant.
Middlesbrough is a place where we hope to be part of a town-wide response to tackle poverty. In other places the response is more localised but we look to replicate successful partnerships so that many more people can be helped in a practical and sustainable way.
