As a charity we are acutely aware of the impact that the current situation in the UK is having on everyone. It's not just affecting those that are on a low income, although many are being plunged deeper into poverty because of the increasing cost of living. However, it is also impacting those who would have previously been unaffected by an increase in every day costs; those with higher incomes and homeowners are also feeling the squeeze on their budgets. Business owners will also be impacted by the increase of National Insurance today. We would appreciate your prayer for those we seek to help - those who are struggling with no financial buffer, and especially those who may not have found themselves in a financial crisis before. We would also appreciate prayer for our donors and supporters as they may also be affected by the rising costs of living. Please do pray that they are blessed when, and if, they are able to give through our website.

Fresh Start Appeal

As we head towards Easter and remember the fresh start that Jesus gives us through his death and resurrection, please do pray for our Fresh Start Appeal, which begins this week. Please pray that we can help many individuals with a fresh start from their circumstances, such as domestic violence, homelessness and debt. Please also pray for churches to be able to share the Good News of Easter with individuals who they are helping with Acts 435 requests.

This month we're very thankful to God for:

• The response we have received to our most recent publicity in press and radio. We are especially thankful to those who stepped up to donate.
• A fantastic time in Hull with one of our partner churches who are keen to spread the word about Acts 435. We enjoyed time with some of our Advocates, and then spoke to a group of churches who were brand new to our work. Please pray that as they consider what they heard, that they would decide to partner with Acts 435.
• An opportunity to speak to rural churches in Devon on zoom at the end of the month. Please pray for good fruit from this opportunity.
• The 639 individuals and families who have been helped in March by Acts 435 Advocates and donors with £84,190 distributed to those who need it most.

Please also pray for:

• An advert that we placed in The Tablet magazine. We have seen some response to this, but please do pray for more.
• More opportunities to spread the word about our work through media outlets. Please pray for connections that we have already made, as well as for new connections, and pray that God opens doors for us.
• The Communications Team as we prepare for our online supporter events on 5th May.
