Asma is a distressed mother of 4, ages 1 - 8 years whose breadwinning husband has recently been jailed for an accidental incidence, she felt the trial was unfair. She is now waiting for social benefit support while she looks for petty jobs that can accommodate her family-care needs. Foodbank quota is not enough for her younger children, she needs financial help to supplement Foodbank, pay essential bills and transport to take children out and to visit husband in prison.
R had experienced longstanding physical, emotional and financial abuse from her husband. She and her children are being supported by social services with accommodation and basic living expenses. Her youngest child(of 3) has recently been diagnosed with autism and learning disability. She is financially struggling as she needs to buy clothes and suitable toys and books for her son.
S experienced abuse from her husband, father of her child and unborn child. She had to escape her home with her child as abuse was so bad and is currently living in temporary accommodation while hoping to be rehoused. There is limited furnishing and no fridge. S is need of a small fridge but she can not afford to buy one from her benefits. She would love to keep food fresher for her children.
