£0 remaining for a double bed
This couple, who are living off Universal Credit and both on long term sick, are currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor, as they cannot afford to buy a bed frame. They would appreciate your help in buying one. Thank you for your support.
C, a refugee who is disabled and lives alone, receives Universal Credit. She recently got a council home and needs your generous donation to obtain a washing machine. With the moving costs and getting other essential furniture for her house, C could not afford this extra expense. Your donations will be massively helpful for her.
This client is a single parent with three young children. Their property has issues with damp and mould, primarily in the storage areas. Mum is waiting for the council to deal with the issue, but fears the mould spores will cause her children's clothes to become mouldy and negatively effect their health. We have provided them with advice and two hydrometers to keep an eye on humidity levels. However, a dehumidifier will help keep the area free of mould so mum can store things safely.
This single mum of two children is living off Universal Credit. Her washing machine has been broken for a while and she is struggling to afford the launderette and keep on top of the washing. Having a washing machine at home would obviously take a lot of stress from her.
