£0 remaining for a microwave, duvets and bedding and kitchen items
Our client left her family home, due to her husband’s controlling behaviour, which was increasingly becoming worse and was leading towards her having dark thoughts. The only person she knew in the end was her husband and she wanted to take her own life. Our client left her home and now have a flat she is moving into next week with her fifteen year old son. Mum would love to be able to buy some bedding, duvets and kitchen items, such as a microwave and kettle as she only left with a suitcase of clothes.
This request concerns a young lady who is a single mother with a fourteen year old son. M lives in a council house and has very little income. She has a history of depression and anxiety, which means she has paid little attention to her back garden. The housing people want her to get it cleared by mid July or it may affect her right to the tenancy. We have sourced most of the cost, but the final £200 would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
K, a single mum of twin teenage girls, works hard as a care worker and claims Universal Credit to make ends meet. She has had a tenancy with a reasonable rent, but the landlord now has a Section 21 order to evict her. K has been unable to find anything affordable privately, so has applied to the local council for accommodation and her furniture has to go into storage. Our charity is funding the move itself, but please can Acts 435 donors help K find £22 per week for two months storage costs?
This lady, who cares for two children by the person from whom she is fleeing, has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and one child with additional needs. She has been with him since she was sixteen years old. Eighteen months ago they went into a refuge and were then allocated a home. Unfortunately, she was located and assaulted, and the police are involved. The stress of everything has made her lose her hair. The family returned to a refuge and now have another home. They need carpets, which have been provided free of charge and, with your kind donations, we want to help with the fitting costs.
