£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
After fleeing domestic violence and being moved to a safe house, L and her two children are finally in a safe place and are embracing a fresh start in life. L has suffered horrendous domestic violence for many years and has found the strength to get help from the police and leave. She tries so hard for the sake of the children, but is now suffering from anxiety and depression. L`s old fridge freezer has broken beyond repair and she cannot afford to replace it out of her benefits. Please could you help them?
V, who has fled domestic violence and is expecting her seventh child, has been rehoused. She has managed to get most household items from charity shops and other charities, but has no income spare to buy a carry cot pram that converts into a pushchair, with a rain cover, as she is waiting for her benefits to be processed. This pregnancy was a shock; V thought she was sick because of all the stress and upheaval of being rehoused. She is very house proud and suffering from stress, due to the situation.
After fleeing domestic violence, A has been housed and is in need of a microwave oven as, at present, she only has a camp oven to cook on. Her teenage children also love to cook. The kitchen in the house is waiting for repairs and a microwave could be used in the living room, as it is portable. A is waiting for her benefits to be processed and cannot afford this item. The stress of everything is really showing as this family try to start a new life. Please can you help?
L has recently escaped a domestic abuse marriage where she amassed debts as a result of her husband's financial abuse. Mum and her daughter have been in a refuge for the past two years, but have finally found a home to move into, but have no money left and are still in debt. We are helping L with debts, and her family support worker has been able to find some help to furnish some of the house with white goods etc. L needs a bed for herself and a mattress for her daughter.
