£0 remaining for a school uniform
This Syrian asylum-seeking family has been moved to Leeds and the parent asks for £120 to purchase a school uniform for her child who has been given a school place. The school colour requirements are unusual, so not easily purchased, and the costs are high. Mum asks for funds to purchase the uniform items online. As mum has other children awaiting school places, the cost for this will be extremely difficult for her to reach on her limited benefit. Please can you help the child to have a good start in school?
H is a young mum with a disabled child that she cares for. The home she lives in has no flooring down at all and H is struggling financially. She has no savings, as her only income is from benefits, and without our help she would never be able to afford to carpet her home. H's house is really cold and damp, and feels unsafe for her child. Carpets down would transform her house into a home. We have an offer of free carpets, but would appreciate your help with the fitting charge.
This single mum is working part-time and in receipt of Universal Credit. She has recently fled domestic violence, where her ex-partner caused £30,000 worth of damage to their property. This lady would like to replace the bed that she previously had, as she tries to restore their life. Mum has been saving up money, but cannot afford the full amount and would appreciate some help.
Our client, a newly granted refugee who receives Universal Credit, has recently moved into rented private accommodation. He needs your generous donation to afford a washing machine. With the moving costs and getting other essential furniture for his house, he could not afford to purchase a washing machine. With the increase in energy bills, he is struggling to handwash and dry his clothes. Your donations will be massively helpful to him.
