£0 remaining for a washing machine
This request is for a single mum and her three boys who have fled domestic abuse. The family has been given a house by the local housing association and can finally leave the shelter. There is nothing in the property and, although we have been able to source lots of furniture and flooring, there is no washing machine. Mum needs a machine for the three different school uniforms and clothes the kids go through. Please can you help?
H is a single lady who has been offered a property, but unfortunately there was no furniture at all. H came here with some savings, but these are nearly gone and she is struggling to furnish her house and feed herself too. H is in urgent need of a fridge freezer, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a lamp for her house. She would appreciate any support.
K and her husband have recently moved to the UK from Pakistan. They are both currently not working and do not have access to public funds, but are seriously job hunting. They have two children, aged eight weeks and an eleven months old. K and her husband are currently surviving on limited savings, but are concerned that these are running out. They are renting a room from a private landlord and are in urgent need of a fridge freezer, washing machine and single bed. Your support is highly appreciated.
S, who is married with three children, has unfortunately broken his knee. He is off work and only receives Statutory Sick Pay which does not cover the household bills. Their fridge freezer has broken and, as they are unable to replace it, are having to buy fresh food everyday at a cost which they cannot afford. The family is finding it very difficult to ask for help, but has no option at this difficult time.
