Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
J and her husband have recently moved to the UK from India and J is pregnant with twins. Although both are working, they are on low wages and J is now on maternity leave, but is not entitled to benefits. They are living in one room in a multi-occupancy house, but are shortly due to move to a private flat. J and her husband have no savings, as all of their money is spent on bills and the house move. The church has helped with many baby items, but they desperately need a double buggy to enable the babies to go out.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150This young mum, who has been a member of our social supermarket for eighteen months, suffers with severe anxiety and often struggles to get out. Her finances are stretched and she struggles to make her Universal Credit cover everything, with her energy bills are always in arrears. Mum is trying to reduce this now, as the weather is warmer, however, her two children need bedding, quilts, protectors, and pillows as they could only keep warm by wrapping up in bed. Please can we help give them a bit of luxury?
