Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £165D has been living in shared/supported accommodation for many years, but has recently managed to secure full-time employment in the catering industry (he is a qualified chef). Due to living in supported accommodation, he can only work sixteen hours a week or he will be evicted. D has been able to obtain a one bedroom flat which he will move into on the 26th May. It is partially furnished, but does not have a bed or a wardrobe. Please could we request donations to obtain a bed, mattress and a wardrobe for him?

Total needed £200This single mum, who has recently suffered a mental health breakdown, cares for twins who both have complex neurodiversity conditions. They were rehoused two years ago and, due to the property being rat infested because of poor maintenance, mum got into debt replacing household items. We have been helping with various items, including groceries. Two bedroom carpets have been damaged by the rats and replacement carpets are being provided free of charge. With your kind donations, we want to help with the fitting charge.
Still £140 left to donate
Total needed £140K, a single mum of twin teenage girls, works hard as a care worker and claims Universal Credit to make ends meet. She has had a tenancy with a reasonable rent, but the landlord now has a Section 21 order to evict her. K has been unable to find anything affordable privately, so has applied to the local council for accommodation and her furniture has to go into storage. Our charity is funding the move itself, but please can Acts 435 donors help K find £22 per week for two months storage costs?
