Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £150P, who is married with one dependent child, is living in a mortgaged property. He is currently claiming Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment, and his partner is claiming Carers Allowance. The family's front door has been broken for months; the door will shut, but will not latch or lock, leaving them in a dangerous position as anyone could walk in at any time. They need help with funding a new door. We have applied to other charities and received £600 towards the cost. If you would kindly support P with £200, his family can pay the remaining costs.

Total needed £200This lovely lady and her husband find themselves in a large amount of rent arrears. They are very worried that they could find themselves in court and that this would impact their young family of three children, aged five, two and eleven months old. The arrears have been caused by the uncertainties in her husband's employment and have been made worse by the recent rent increases. Following discussions with the housing department, they have been advised that a £200 repayment will reduce any risk of legal intervention.
